paediatric practice in Muenster

Welcome to our private paediatric practice!

We treat children from birth to 18 years of age in a quiet, reassuring environment in Münster’s Kreuzviertel near the center of town. We find it important to examine each child in a relaxed and mindful way taking the time necessary for thorough exams and in-depth consultations.

We offer yearly check-ups, regular vaccinations according to the recommendations of the STIKO (Ständige Impfkommission) as well as travel vaccinations, ultrasound examinations, vision and hearing tests, allergy diagnostics and much more.

After graduating from the University of Münster I finished my paediatric training at the Children’s Hospital of Münster University and then completed a fellowship at Children’s Hospital, Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts from 1999-2001. My special interests are paediatric endocrinology, dermatology, metabolism and newborn medicine.

Dr. Christina Sistermann is an experienced paediatrician with special expertise in asthma and newborn medicine. We are both fluent in English, I also speak French and some Spanish, Dr. Sistermann also speaks Italian.

We also offer an outpatient clinic for children with (suspected) endocrine disorders run by Prof. Dr. Brämswig who was the head of the endocrinology department at the University of Muenster until 2013. Prof. Brämswig is fluent in English.

If you need a medical consultation after 6 pm on weekdays, after 1 pm on wednesdays and fridays and on weekends, please go to the Clemenshospital.
